Thank you for visiting our website.

Our chapter was established in February 2009 and our membership continues to grow in friendship and support for our military members and for each other.

The main focus of our Chapter is to support our active duty service members and our veterans. One special way we show our support is to send care packages to troops deployed overseas. These packages deliver more than treats and hygiene products, they serve as a reminder to our troops they are not forgotten, and we, as a nation appreciate the sacrifices made being away from home, family, and friends.

Our “Care Package Projects,” brings an entire community together to support those serving abroad. We are grateful for the tremendous support we receive from local businesses, veterans organizations, churches, civic organizations, and schools. The more support we receive the more packages we are able to ship.

Winter 2015 Military Care Packages

Our chapter is in the process of collecting items and names for our November 14 Care Package Event.


We hope to send 300 boxes to support the troops that will be deployed over the holidays.

If you are interested in donating items listed on our winter wish list or have a name that you would like to summit please notify us via Facebook messenger;  Blue Star Mothers of Fredericksburg VA4, PO Box 91, Fredericksburg, VA 22404; or president@bluestarmothersva4.org.

Any service personnel name that is submitted must be deployed through December with an accurate address.

The RT 17 Walmart will collect items from mid-September until end of October.

Our chapter will be collecting from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the following locations:

Saturday, Oct 3rd at the Garrisonville Walmart

Saturday, Oct 17th   at RT 17 Walmart

Wreaths Across America

wreathsEach year our Chapter sells wreaths for sponsorship to assure every grave site at Arlington and Quantico Cemeteries are properly honored. Sponsoring a wreath through our Chapter will also help the many projects we do.

This is a great chance to remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
